Group 1-winning daughter of Per Incanto among the first batch of supplementaries
Group 1-winning filly Bonham (Per Incanto) is one of a number of supplementary entries for the Magic Millions National Sale, which gets underway on the Gold Coast on May 20.
The three-year-old daughter of Per Incanto (Street Cry) will be offered as racing and breeding prospect by Willow Park Stud and she has been catalogued as Lot 707.
Bonham has won four of her six career starts, headlined by a brilliant victory in the Levin Classic (Gr 1, 1600m) in January.
Bred by Little Avondale Stud, Bonham was purchased for NZ$160,000 by Gary Harding at Book 1 of the 2019 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka National Yearling Sale and she is out of placed Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) mare Fortune’s Choice.
Fortune’s Choice is herself a daughter of Listed-winning and Group 1 placed Galileo (Sadler’s Wells) mare Banc De Fortune, who herself produced fellow stakes winner Eagle Island (Fastnet Rock).
Banc De Fortune is out dual Group 1 winner Danendri (Danehill), who produced Group 3 winner Zingam (Zabeel), further back this is the same family as dual Group 1 winner Faint Perfume (Shamardal) and Group 3-winning Chains Of Honour (Redoute’s Choice) and Roy Had Enough (Pierro).
Among the nine other race fillies and maiden mares in this supplementary release are Group 1 performer Burgundy Belle (Burgundy) (Lot 708) and recent Western Australian Oaks (Gr 3, 2400m) winner Lunar Impact (Real Impact) (Lot 701).
The National Weanling Sale has attracted three supplementary lots already - a colt by Better Than Ready (More Than Ready) and fillies by Pierro (Lonhro) and Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo).
Final supplementary entries for the National Weanling and Broodmare Sales will close at 10am on May 10.
