Siblings to two of the stars of the Spring Carnival and early foals from two multiple Group 1 stars are among the highlight lots of January's 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale catalogue.

Magic Millions on Sunday released what will go down as its largest catalogue for one of the world's top yearling sales.

A total of 1468 yearlings – 195 more than last year's record sale – have been catalogued with Book 1 to be conducted from January 9-13 with Book 2 to operate on January 15 and 16.

A half-brother to Magic Millions success story Imperatriz, the daughter of I Am Invincible who on Saturday logged her eight career Group 1 in the Champions Sprint at Flemington, will be offered on Day 2.

By Capitalist, the colt to be offered by Bhima Thoroughbreds is out of the Shamardal mare Berimbau, who was this year sold to Yulong for $1.8 million.

In Secret, a $900,000 Magic Millions yearling who finished third behind Imperatriz on Saturday, is the sister to Lot 623- a filly by I Am Invincible out of Eloping.

Grenville Stud will offered a Wootton Bassett half-brother to The Everest hero Think About It, who is by So You Think out of the now-late Flying Spur mare Tiare

There are 33 yearlings out Group 1 winners who will be offered, including the I Am Invincible first foal from former WA star Arcadia Queen, who herself was sold for $3.2 million at Magic Millions, via the 2021 National Broodmare Sale.

Loving Gaby's second foal, a filly by Snitzel, will also be offered, a year after the dual Group 1 winner's first foal, by Pierata, sold for $800,000 at the same sale.

In all, 129 stallions are represented at the sale, including 26 by first-season sires including Bivouac, Farnan and Ole Kirk, plus the first products of Wootton Bassett conceived at his stint at Coolmore Australia.

"The success of graduates of the Gold Coast Yearling Sale is second to none," Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said.

"If you want to buy a Group One winner you must be at the Gold Coast in January.

"With recent graduates including genuine stars Alligator Blood, Espiona, Golden Sixty, Imperatriz, In Secret, Militarize and Ozzmosis, you can see why the sale is held in the highest of regards.

"Our team has worked hard in compiling a large and quality filled catalogue of horses we believe can be future stars on the track and beyond."

The 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale is again structured around the rich Magic Millions Raceday, which will this year be held on Saturday, January 13.
