Last foal for 22-year-old mare is born at Segenhoe.
The Sir Owen Glen-owned Mica's Pride (Bite The Bullet) has foaled a colt by Widden Stud's Zoustar (Northern Meteor) Segenhoe announced via Twitter over the weekend.
A Group 3 winner, Mica's Pride has produced ten winners from as many foals to race headed by her multiple Group 1 winning son Criterion (Sebring) and her Doomben Cup (Gr 1, 2000m) winning son Comin' Through (Fastnet Rock).
The daughter of Bite The Bullet (Spectacular Bid) also produced Listed winer Silently (Anabaa), who is the dam of South African Grade 3 winner Muwaary (O'Reilly) and another of Mica's Pride's daughter is the Group 2 winner Varenna Miss (Redoute's Choice).
After missing to Snitzel (Redoute's Choice) in 2018, Mica's Pride foaled a filly by Russian Revolution (Snitzel) last year. The Zoustar colt will be the last foal for the 22-year-old mare who will now be retired from breeding.
