TRIAL POINTERS

ROSEHILL November 4: Looking forward to the return of promising sprinter KERGUELEN. The lightly raced Lonhro 4YO has loads of potential after showing plenty in his first four starts for two wins and two placings. This was his second trial since July and like his first he could have easily won his 1030m heat (61.98; 34.80) if called on for a serious effort. Travelled easily behind the lead group before easing to the outside and working well within himself to run the smart winner ANG POW to a close margin at the finish, going through the line under a big hold. Other strong 1030m heat winners included the talented NAVY BLOOD (61.59; 34.22) and the maiden UNLEESHING (62.90; 35.09).

WARWICK FARM October 29: REGIMENTAL COLOURS has featured in Trial Watch several times with this being the third trial win since May by the unraced All Too Hard filly. She's well educated and showed her natural speed to lead comfortably and extend under no pressure for a soft win, running fast time in her 792m heat (45.56; 32.75). Time for her to go to the races. Other smart maiden heat winners included KING OF DRAGONS.

ROSEHILL October 18: In the trials over 1030m the maiden heat winners POINT AND SHOOT (61.08; 34.82) and HOPPER (63.13; (35.48) had been noted in previous trials and their efforts at this session confirmed that they are trio with the talent to win races.

WARWICK FARM October 15: KING OF DRAGONS was tabbed when he won a trial last season before one start in June. Again showed he has talent by leading comfortably in his 789m heat,  never coming under pressure to record an easy 2.2 lengths win in the fastest time of the session (45.98; 33.51).

ROSEHILL October 4: The maiden heats were chock full of good trials. Mark down the placegetters HOPPER and POINT AND SHOOT as good prospects for early wins.

ROSEHILL May 24: Bjorn Baker won a 2YO heat over 900m with first time runner REGIMENTAL COLOURS (55.35; 35.48). She is a racy filly by All Too Hard with plenty of natural pace.
