RACE 3 (9) UNEQUIVOCAL: Talented Hawkesbury-trained mare qualified for the Provincial Final with a strong come from behind win in the Kembla Grange heat over 1400m when having just second start after a 10 weeks spell. Followed up with a fine effort when out of her class and back in distance to 1200m in a classy G3 Star Kingdom Stakes at Rosehill on March 26 when she again worked to the line late. Ready to peak after that perfect prep for this target race.

RACE 5 (1) JAPONISME: Back to Sydney and his own age from taking on the likes of Chautauqua and company in three of Melbourne’s toughest majors – the Lightning Stakes, Newmarket Handicap and William Reid Stakes - where his efforts have all been first class. His record against his own age speaks for itself and as the proven G1 performer in this field he stands out as the horse to beat under these set weight conditions.

RACE 7 (3) GRAND MARSHAL[: Tough seasoned stayer goes up only 2kg on the weight he carried to win last year and remains favourably handicapped after his strong lead-up form in wfa races. Ran home strongly from last under 59kg in the BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on March 26 that showed he is in the right form for another big 3200m performance, especially if he gets his favoured soft track conditions.
